Despite ongoing rescue attempts, the death toll from the earthquakes that struck Turkey and northwest Syria has surpassed 33,000.
On Sunday, there were 29,605 fatalities in Turkey, compared to 4,500 fatalities in Syria.
150 hours after the earthquakes struck, a newborn was pulled from the rubble in Hatay province.
According to the UN, up to 5.3 million Syrians may now be homeless as a result of the earthquakes, and approximately 900,000 people in both Turkey and Syria are in urgent need of hot meals.
The Syrian government has authorized the delivery of humanitarian aid to earthquake-affected regions under authority of other governments.
Turkey claims it is attempting to open two additional routes into Syrian territory held by rebels.
