According to the police, the distressing event took place in the Batkhela tehsil of the Malakand district. During the incident, relatives forcefully entered the family’s residence and unleashed a random barrage of gunfire, tragically claiming the lives of nine individuals from the same family. Among the victims were three women and six men who were asleep at the time of the attack.

Caretaker Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan has issued a directive to the police, urging them to accelerate their endeavors in apprehending the accused individuals without delay.
“He affirmed that the accused would face legal consequences and emphasized that the victim’s family would receive due justice in the matter.”
