For instance, accessing saved passwords now requires biometric authentication, such as Face ID, providing additional assurance that only authorized users can access critical information. Changing important settings, like the Apple ID password, is now subject to a security delay, enhancing overall device security. Notably, when the iPhone is in a familiar place, like home or the office, no delay is imposed.
