Hybrid solar eclipse in April 2023: On April 20, 2023, there will be a hybrid solar eclipse. The Ningaloo solar eclipse will take place on April 20. Although viewers in India won’t be able to see it, live streaming of the event can be viewed from Western Australia.
Depending on where the observer is, a hybrid solar eclipse will either appear as a total eclipse or an annular eclipse. An annular eclipse occurs when the Moon partially blocks the Sun, giving the bright Sun the appearance of a bright disc.
Where can you see the eclipse? When will it be possible to see the solar eclipse?
Exmouth on Australia’s west coast is the only place where the eclipse will appear as a total solar eclipse, according to the government of Western Australia. A partial solar eclipse will be visible in Exmouth for about three hours, from 6.04 AM AWST to 9.02 AM AWST (3.34 AM IST to 6.32 AM IST). However from 7.29 to 7.30 AM AWST, the total solar eclipse will only be visible for a little over a minute (4.29 AM IST to 4.30 AM IST).
